You can renew HIU library books once before returning them. You must first activate your library patron account for this. (Click here to request an extension on Interlibrary loans.)
To renew your books online:
- Go to https://libguides.hiu.edu/library/
- Click on Sign in to my library account
- Enter your University ID and password and click the Sign In button.
- Click the dropdown menu under your name in the upper right hand corner
- Select My Account. A list of books you have checked out should appear.
- Click on the Renew button next to the item(s) you wish to renew.
Other ways to renew books:
- By phone, call (714) 879-3901, ext. 1234.
- By email, [email protected].
- In person, visit the library any time we are open.
