To use Mango, you do have to set up your own account after you get in through the library’s web page. Then you will have access to your same account – to keep track of your progress – if you were to gain access through another way in the future.
Go to the library’s home page (https://library.hiu.edu). Click on "A-Z Database Links (Click Here)". Click on "M" for Mango Languages (or select "Languages" from the drop down menu).
Click on Mango Languages. You will be prompted for your HIU network log in. After getting in to Mango for the first time, you will be prompted to set up your profile. After that you should just be directed to your account with preferences, etc.
You can also go to the iTunes App store or Google Play store to install the Mango app on your mobile device. The first time you use your mobile app you will have to go to the library’s full website click on Mango Languages and enter your HIU network log in first.
