According to the 7th edition (2020) of the APA style manual...
- within the text of your paper you must include the version of the Bible you used, the year that version was originally published, the year your copy was (re)published, as well as the book of the Bible, chapter, and verse using the following format:
"Quote." (Version, 1973/1984, John 1:1-2)
- and in your list of References at the end of your paper, you must include the above information in this format:
Version. (1984). Publisher. (Original work published 1973).
