If you are encountering an error when accessing an online journal or article in one of our databases most likely the problem can be solved by simply clearing out your browser's cache and/or cookies. Find your browser below and follow the steps for deleting these two things.
 

 

Microsoft Edge

   1. Open Microsoft Edge.
   2. Click the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner
   3. Click on Settings
  
4. Click on Privacy and services
   5. There will be a blue button labeled "Choose what to clear." Click this button. Then there will be a pop-up box
   6. Click the drop-down menu for "Time range." 
   7. Determine what browsing data you to clear
   8. Once you have chosen your options, click "Clear now."

 


Firefox 3.5 and above

   1. Click on Open Menu button (3 horizontal lines) at the top and select Options
   2. Select the Privacy & Security panel 
   3. In the Cookies and Site data section, Click on Clear Data . . . remove the check mark in front of Cookies and Site Data
   4. Make sure Cached Web Content is checked and click the Clear button


Chrome

   1. In the Chrome browser, click More (at the top right)
   2. Click More tools > Clear browsing data. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
   3. Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes
   4. Click Clear data

 

Safari

   1. Click Safari at the top (top left corner of browser). Click on Preferences
   2. Select the Privacy tab. Click on Manage Website Data.
   3. Select Remove All and click on Remove now in the popup.
   4. Check in Advanced tab, if Show Develop menu in menu bar is selected. If not, Check the box.
   5. Select Develop in the menu bar on the top of the screen and click Empty Caches to clear Cache.
