You can renew your books online. Here's how:

1. From the library's home page (http://library.hiu.edu), click on the Advanced Search link below the search box.

2. Sign in (see the button in the upper right hand corner) with your University ID number and password.*

3. Your name will now appear in upper right hand corner. 

4. Click on your name and select "My Account".

From here you can see what books you have checked out and when they are due. You can renew books up to two times if there is no Hold on them by another patron waiting to use it. Your new due date will be 30 days from the current date.

*If you haven't already done this before you will need to create a password.


If you are having a problem renewing materials online, please contact the library at 714-879-3901 x1234 to have them renewed for you over the phone and us know you are having trouble so we can look into it.
